Cato is a qualified Social Worker and Play Therapist with more than 20 years’ experience working in several children and family teams while in London and Cape Town.
She has completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Play Therapy, accredited internationally by Leeds Beckett University, UK.
Thanks to her working experience in a hospital the past 9 years, she has developed a special interest in Play Therapy with sick and hospitalized children. She has witnessed many children struggle with life’s challenges and decided to focus on Play Therapy in order to give children a voice through their play. Being a firm believer in early intervention she uses the integrated holistic child-centered approach; the most recognised form of Play Therapy in the UK and USA.
